to Quinta Casal Maior!
Quinta Casal Maior is an old rural building originating from
1732. The house was fully restored by its present owners 1994.
Quinta Casal Maior is run by the De Jesus family.
The House is located in a village called Lanheses, 9kms from
both Viana do Castelo and Ponte do Lima, Porto Airport 75 kms,
in the north part of Portugal, an area very famous for its Vinho
Verde, (Green Wine) in the region of Alto Minho.

In Ponte de Lima you
will find an excellent Golf Course,
Ponte de Lima Golf Club, and the town is famous for its
history.
Viana do Castelo is excellent for those who like to windsurf,
shopping or just walk along the many beaches you will find here.
You can enjoy a wine tasting from one of our Wine Producer in,
Alto Minho, Dão and Douro.
In and around of Lanheses there is a lot on offer too such as
plate shooting, four-wheel tracking, horse riding or just a
visit to one of the traditional cafés.
Alto Minho region can offer you a variety of activities, and
throughout the summer period the villages around organizes
markets, and local festivals.
If you want to see the old part of Portugal, you should come and
stay with us for a week or two. Relax, sit back and enjoy the
beautiful views over the mountains by the pool in the summer
heat or any other season.
